Pakistan Out Of WorldCup; India Under Pressure for Upcoming Matches

Its quite an interesting day history of Cricket that two big teams are defeated by the weaker teams on the same day. Pakistan lost its match to Ireland and India is defeated by Bangladesh. Both Pakistan and India batted first and there strong batting lineups were collapsed badly.

This has become even worse for Pakistan who had already lost their first match to West Indies and now they are out of worldcup. This is no doubt their worst performance since they are playing cricket. Now after their departure to Pakistan, there will take place a lot of changes from top to bottom in the infrastructure of Pakistan Cricket and their cricket board.

As far as India is concerened, they are still in the tournament having a chance to come back. What they need to do is to win the next match with a large margin against Bermuda and then they have to win from Srilanka otherwise they will also be back to home.

India is not just in danger but out of worldcup, a bit of felcity after having seen Pakistan facing the Worldcup debacle. Somehow, Tendulkar was probably playing his last worldcup. India has been extremely unlucky not to have won the worldcup inspite of Tendulkar’s presence in the team. Dravid , I wish , should resign rather retire from ODIs, so as Ganguly, They have played enough cricket and have served their nation against Pakistan only.Tendulkar should not get to the 50 of his centuries, otherwise it’ll be difficult for Aussies to break his record.Best of luck for Aussies for the the rest of World cup 2007.
