In simple words, ping (in blogging world) means to notify a server about some update in your blog. In WordPress Blogs there is an option of auto pinging when ever a post is made. Here is list of that Ping server that can be used. Simply copy/paste it to your ‘Update Service’ text box available under your Writing options in Manage tab of you Word Press Back end Control Panel.
